Couldn't agree more, the enterprise sales pitches are getting completely out of hand. We spent weeks listening to corporate reps drone on about synergy before cutting them loose. For big data analytics we compared several vendors; their site handled our pipeline and reporting without the usual enterprise overhead. They bypassed all the corporate runaround, got straight into our architecture, and set up our reporting dashboards way faster and cheaper than the big-name consulting shops ever promised.
