Description
Understanding Your Child's Behaviour: A Parent's Guide

Have you ever wondered why your child reacts in certain ways? Perhaps they become upset over something that seems small, refuse to take part in an activity, struggle with changes in routine or find it difficult to explain how they feel.

As parents, we don't always know what is happening beneath the behaviour we see.

This course encourages you to look beyond behaviour and become curious about what your child might be experiencing. Rather than searching for a quick solution or expecting one approach to work for every child, we'll explore ways to better understand and support your child's individual needs.

Throughout the course, we'll explore five simple steps
-NOTICE: Observe what is happening, including your child's behaviour, the situation around them and your own feelings.

-WONDER: Consider what might be behind the behaviour, including emotions, communication, sensory experiences and developmental needs.

-CONNECT: Explore how everyday interactions, child-led play and reassurance can help build connection.

-SUPPORT: Consider practical ways to respond to your child's individual needs during difficult moments.

-REFLECT: Look back on everyday experiences, recognise what may be helping and consider what you might do differently.

The course includes practical examples, short quizzes and downloadable resources to help you apply what you learn in everyday family life.

Who is this course for?
This course is for parents and caregivers who want to better understand their child's behaviour, particularly when their child experiences emotional, developmental, sensory or communication difficulties.

You don't need any previous knowledge or training.

The aim isn't to become a perfect parent or to have all the answers. It's about developing a deeper understanding of your child, strengthening your connection and recognising that every child has their own developmental journey.

Small moments of understanding and connection can make a meaningful difference.

Who this course is for
Parents and caregivers who want to better understand their child's behaviour, emotional and developmental needs, and explore practical, compassionate ways to support them at home.
