Nine small autos in a square meter tent usually outyields two large ones for me, because each plant only has so much time to fill space. Packing them tighter also smooths out the risk of one seedling stalling early and dragging the whole harvest down. Spacing charts for common tent sizes, with pot counts and recommended strains for a tight sea of green, are worked out at https://turboautoflowerseeds.com and match my own layout closely. Airflow between plants gets harder at higher counts though.
